RequirementsSolara system requirements
The documented target is 64-bit desktop Windows 10 and 11 plus the x64 .NET Desktop Runtime. Phones, consoles, ARM laptops, and 32-bit Windows are out of scope.
Operating system
Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11, 64-bit, are the documented bar. Mainstream updates for Windows 10 have ended; the app can still run if Roblox still does. Windows 11 is supported. Smart App Control on recent 11 builds can hard-block an unsigned executable instead of showing a warning.
If the file never starts, open Windows Security and look at Smart App Control before you decide the ZIP is corrupt. That switch is separate from SmartScreen.
Architecture
x86-64 only. There is no ARM64 package and no 32-bit package in this line. A file advertised as either is not this release. Mixing an x86 .NET runtime with this ZIP will not save a silent launch.
.NET Desktop Runtime (x64)
Solara needs the x64 .NET Desktop Runtime from Microsoft. Missing it is the most common “nothing happens” report. The process starts, no window, no useful error, and people redownload six archives.
Install the x64 Desktop Runtime, reboot if Windows asks, launch again from the extracted folder. The x86 package is the wrong download. The runtime is not bundled in Solara_v3.zip.
Roblox Player
Official Roblox Player from the desktop installer. You start it yourself. Mobile, Xbox, PlayStation, and browser-only sessions have nothing to attach to. Mixed Store and desktop installs confuse attach — point at the player you actually launch.
Disk and permissions
The application itself is small. Leave room on the system drive for the runtime installer if you still need it. Keep Solara under your user profile. Program Files adds permission errors that look like product bugs.
Custom user folders are fine as long as you own them. Network shares and synced folders that lock files while the process runs are a bad place for an extract.
Platform table
- Windows 11 x64: supported; Smart App Control can hard-block unsigned binaries
- Windows 10 x64: supported; 22H2 documented
- Windows on ARM: not supported
- 32-bit Windows: not supported
- Android, iOS, console: out of scope
If you fail the bar
There is no mobile build and no cloud-PC build in this documentation. Emulation, Android subsystems, and ARM Windows with x64 translation are not a supported path. If Roblox itself will not run as a desktop Windows player, Solara has nothing to attach to.
Third-party antivirus can quarantine the EXE the same way Defender does. Check that product’s history before you fetch another ZIP. Do not stack three security suites and then call the archive corrupt.
